LIQUID PENETRANT TESTING (PT)
Accurate surface-level defect detection for non-porous materials.

Liquid Penetrant Testing is a highly versatile NDT method designed to reveal surface-breaking defects in plastics, metals, and ceramics. It is the “gold standard” for inspecting non-ferrous materials where magnetic testing isn’t possible.
Our technicians begin with a thorough surface decontamination, ensuring the area is completely free of oil, grease, and debris. A specialized penetrant is then applied and allowed sufficient dwell time to seep into any potential surface-breaking cracks. Finally, a developer is applied to draw the dye back to the surface through capillary action, vividly highlighting even the smallest flaws for expert analysis.

Key Inspection Features
- High Sensitivity: Detects incredibly small surface discontinuities.
- Versatile Material Range: Perfect for stainless steel, aluminum, and advanced ceramics.
- Low Cost/High Reliability: Provides a high level of quality control without expensive equipment.
